Since a few years there’s a pleasant collaboration between the two. In one product they found each other in such a way that they decided to make mutual arrangements on purchasing and selling. This product is fern root material. With this we actually mean the material of the stems of tree fern, especially Dicksonia.

We strongly believe in using this material for planting terrariums / paludariums.

• It’s great durable and natural material.
• Durable meaning that this material will last for years in a damp terrarium / paludarium without any trouble.
• It’s also durable because the material was already imported in the Netherlands, surplus to requirements and saved to be used as planting material.
• This material has recently been imported from Australia and New Zealand, carefully considering all legislation about nature conservation. We completely underline these rules and will definitely not sell any tree fern material form Indonesia and South America.
• It’s one of few natural materials that will have fern grown on it spontaneously. Besides that there’s a possibility of little ferns growing on it spontaneously and it can strike cuttings of almost all plants.
• Although tree fern material is relatively expensive, we can offer it for a fair price which is under the normal price.
